FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Raw files are meant to be edited, they cannot be printed without being post-processed first. They are dull, flat “images” that are low in contrast and not as sharp. Photographers capture RAW files when they shoot because the RAW files contain complete (lossless) data from the camera’s sensor that photographers can use to edit in their specific style, which is EXACTLY what attracts someone to a photographer’s work in the first place. Since editing is very much a part of the photography experience, if a photographer were to deliver RAW images, it would be like a baker delivering raw ingredients on a wedding day, instead of the fully baked and decorated cake :)

With all of that being said, no, you will not get the RAW images, but you do get high-resolution JPG images. You'll get anywhere from 700-1500 images depending on how detailed your wedding is!

  • 2024 marks my 17th season of wedding photography in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas! I’ve photographed more than 800 weddings! I know pretty much everything there is to know about weddings, so if you need anything at all in the planning process, please feel free to reach out here!

  • My style is natural, candid, fun, emotion-filled, and authentic. I love the details, the people, the music, the places, but mostly I love finding something special and unique to each couple. This helps me to capture authentic emotion in the midst of wedding commotion.

  • I will do everything in my power to show up as your Philadelphia wedding photographer, but life throws curveballs at us sometimes. If there’s an emergency during your special day, you will be notified and another photographer from my team will be there to capture your special day. You can rest assured knowing your wedding will be taken care of — no matter what!

  • Proofs are offered in an online proofing gallery. You’ll get a digital download code so you can download your high resolution photos in JPEG format. Your images will be ready to view / download in about 8 weeks after your event.

  • If you’re thinking about using me as your wedding photographer in Philly or a surrounding area, please get in touch here. If I have your wedding date available, I would love to meet with you over coffee or wine or plan a phone call to see if we’re a match!

If you decide to book with me, I’ll require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your date. I book my wedding photography services on a first-come/first-serve basis. I cannot reserve your date until your deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding date.

For your convenience, I can accept cash or checks.

  • Yes, as all professional wedding vendors should. I can send a copy of this insurance to your venue if required. Just send me your venue’s contact person’s email and I’ll take care of this asap!

  • You can expect to receive your photographs 8 weeks post-wedding, depending on the season. However, a week or two after your event, I will send you a gallery of sneak peeks to help hold you over until the rest of your images are ready!

  • I’ve had the incredible honor of being mentioned by Offbeat Bride, Green Wedding Shoes, Hey Wedding Lady, Cosmopolitan, Ruffled, Wedding Chicks, and Rustic Wedding Chic! I’ve also featured as a Philadelphia wedding photographer by Philly Mag, the Philadelphia Inquirer & the Best of CBS Philly.

  • I shoot with Canon bodies and lenses. I always bring multiple layers of backup equipment including extra lenses, camera bodies, flash units, batteries etc. I also back up your images in my home and also in the cloud for peace of mind.

  • We do request that you kindly provide two hot meals at your wedding reception: one for myself and the other for my second photographer. It’ll keep us going strong and allow us to get those amazing images for you! We usually eat while the guests are eating because most people don’t want their pictures taken with their mouths full.
