Nestled in the heart of New Hope, Pennsylvania, HollyHedge Estate is one of Bucks County’s most beloved wedding venues—and for good reason. This historic estate offers timeless charm, lush gardens, and stone architecture that’s straight out of a storybook. Alysa and Dylan’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of their love: laid-back, joy-filled, and full of intentional, beautiful details.
Their wedding theme centered around mismatched greens and floral prints, creating a soft cottage garden vibe that felt classic, natural, and true to them. As a fellow wedding photographer, Alysa had a clear vision for the day, and the result was absolutely dreamy.
These two go way back—eight years, to be exact—when Alysa needed a last-minute prom date and was set up with Dylan by her maid of honor, Larissa. One sushi date at Mr. Sushi later, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Dylan, who’s known for his fun-loving spirit, brought that energy to the dance floor and kept everyone smiling all night. He also couldn’t resist dipping Alysa every chance he got, which made for the best candid photos.
Their ceremony was set outdoors in the lush gardens of HollyHedge, but just as it began, the skies opened up and it started to pour. Most couples might panic, but not Alysa and Dylan—they embraced the moment with laughter and grace, making their vows even more unforgettable. The rain only added to the romantic atmosphere, and guests cozied up under umbrellas while the couple exchanged their promises.
As someone who appreciates nature, Alysa especially loves ferns, so when I spotted some nestled along the paths at HollyHedge, I knew they’d be the perfect backdrop for a few quiet portraits. We also made sure to head up the hill for a gorgeous twirl moment—one of my favorite parts of the day. The motion, the landscape, the joy in their faces—it was wedding magic.
Their celebration continued with a signature cocktail hour featuring incredible food by HollyHedge Estate, florals from Waverly Flower Co. and Carousel Flowers (those chandelier florals were breathtaking), and dancing with DJ Rico from Princeton Music Connection, who kept the energy going all night.
Every detail felt thoughtful and personal—from Alysa’s Jenny Yoo gown to the custom invitation suite by Truly Engaging. The entire day was as warm and welcoming as the couple themselves.
